On April 10th, Mr. Zhang Jianren, vice president of CSUST met with William A. Gough, vice dean from the University of Toronto.

The two sides briefly introduced their respective universities to enhance mutual understanding. Professor Zhang Jianren proposed that the two sides can explore fields of common interest in teaching and research, and expand cooperative research between professors. Dr. Gough fully agreed on the proposal and added that besides collaborative research between faculty members, the two parties can also carry out student exchange programs, and introduced in detail their experience in conducting undergraduate and graduate student exchange programs with other Chinese universities, and agreed to sign a cooperation agreement as soon as possible.

After the meeting, Mr. Zhang Jianren, on behalf of CSUST, presented Dr. Gough William a gift as a symbol of friendship.
